1917s plated obverse wheat cent?
I found this a long time ago and it’s had me guessing as to what
it is. The obverse looks plated, at first I originally thought it was
a proof. Then I noticed the reverse wasn’t "prooflike", in fact it was
really worn down. The only thing I can figure is it was plated then
with the obverse side showing put into a pendant? Was this common
years ago? Thanks—John
