Coin Collectors

I may have found one its in great shape my dad had saved it only because it was the year i was born. It has some little black speckles amd alot of superlight scraches on it. What i wanna know is if they are so rare why does copper coins have the highest value at 4500. Dont ask me to post a pic my camera sucks or i just dont know the right settings for it. So why so cheap?
