New to CT

Hello all, I’m new to CoinTalk and am hoping to gain some info. Have been a silver investor for some time now. Over the years, I have gained quite a network of people who call me whenever they come across silver items (general public, store cashiers and local antique shops). I started with buying silver bullion from sellers who sold at or near spot price. I soon realized that I can get far more silver for my money by buying it in alternate forms like coins, jewelry and flatware. I often pay face value or slightly better for 90% and 40% silver American coins. Usually in small batches, but it has really added up. Anyhow, by luck, I have come across many coins that have a far greater collector value over its silver value. That, and I have been getting old and rare non-silver coins (basically for free) that I have been storing away. I was not intending to become a collector, but what I’ve been finding has piqued my interest.
